How we choose topics and products
We choose topics that readers are likely to find useful and that people are searching for. A device has to be available to buy before it appears in a guide or listing.
How we research
- Manufacturer specifications and product pages
- Public product information
- Aggregated buyer feedback
No lab or hands-on testing sits behind our pages. We summarize what the published sources say and keep to that.
How drafts are written and reviewed
Drafts are written with AI writing tools. The LEDFacialMask.org Editorial Team reviews each draft before publication, checking details against sources and removing anything we can’t support. This is a normal part of how the site works.
Claims about results
We don’t state or imply that a device will change anyone’s skin or health. When a manufacturer makes a claim, we may report that the manufacturer says it, clearly attributed, without presenting it as established fact.
Commissions and recommendations
Affiliate commissions never decide what we recommend. See the Affiliate Disclosure for how the links work.
Updates
Products change quickly. We revisit pages when a model is replaced, a source changes or a reader flags a problem. There is no fixed calendar, but pages we can no longer keep accurate are rewritten or removed.
Reporting an error
Email editorial@ledfacialmask.org. The Corrections Policy explains our response. You can learn about the site on the About Us page.
Independence
Manufacturers and stores do not approve our pages before they are published, and we don’t accept payment for coverage.
Who stands behind the content
Pages carry the name of the LEDFacialMask.org Editorial Team rather than individual bylines. The team as a whole is responsible for what is published, and readers can write to us about any page.
Guides and listings
Guides explain a subject, such as how to read a wavelength figure or what a session timer does. Listings gather devices with their published details side by side. The same rules for sourcing, review and corrections apply to both.
What we avoid
- Describing a device as tested when it has not been
- Invented people, credentials or statistics
- Language that suggests a guaranteed outcome
- Letting a store or manufacturer decide what we publish
If a source is unclear or conflicts with another, we say so or leave the detail out. The How We Make Money page covers the business side.
